Million dollar car wreck - Bugatti Veyron

bucknut11

Defense still wins Championships
Veyron is the world's fastest supercar. Bugatti only made 300 of these, costing buyers over a million apiece. They top out at 250+ and get to 60mph in 2.5 seconds! This one may be totaled :( Another one that will never be mine...

Police are investigating the Bugatti Veyron smash which left one of the world?s fastest cars seriously damaged....

...It is understood the Veyron?s owner ? who IS NOT believed to have been the driver at the time - had been on the waiting list for the supercar for over a year. He had owned the motor for just one week before Sunday?s crash in Shepperton, Surrey.

what kind of idiot drives a $1.5 million, 1000 HP car IN THE BLOODY RAIN?

At over a million bucks, I'd expect to be able to drive the bloody thing in the bloody ocean a la James bloody Bond.

I'm amused that you think driving in the rain is the big indicator of idiocy here when the article includes this far greater indicator of idiocy: "the Veyron?s owner who IS NOT believed to have been the driver at the time." Who the fuck buys a Veyron and either lets someone else drive it or doesn't have a "Mission Impossible"-level security system to prevent theft?
