I didn't know what to think at first, but I thought it was too much of a coincidence that the kid originally listed as "Justin" played the same position, was is the same class, had the same physical measurements (except 30 pounds heavier) and went to the same high school as the "new" guy listed as "Tyler". I think it's more believable to see his first name changed (maybe he prefers his middle name over his first name) than to think that a kid's twin brother who wasn't even on the roster in the first place walks on himself and bumps his brother off the roster.

Too bad Wes Scott from Punahou HS here in Honolulu didn't make the cut.

3yards: I wonder if it's normal to remove players from the roster if they're only suspended for a game or two...

Don't you have to make it 105 or something?

I'd imagine you'd want 105 guys who will be able to practice.

Mili, sounds a bit funny to me too. Almost like having a DL. OK, you guys are off the roster so that these guys can be on. OK, you're heathly now? You are back on and these other guys are off the roster.

Obviously the two we are talking about aren't off the roster because of injury, but for disciplinary reasons.

Someone more aquainted with the NCAA/BigTen/OSU rules for eligibility and roster changes will need to answer this question.

Sorry If I was asleep on this one, but is there any story behind Andree Tyree not being listed on the roster? Is he the only scholarship player on that list of removed players?

EDIT: nevermind, Maurice Lee was too.
