Mike Vick (Pittsburgh Steelers)

Should be interesting to see how Vick performs tonite, b/c the whole world is going to know that he is going to have to throw the ball to win the game...

He should at least break the regular season rushing yards for a QB and might even top 1000 yds for the season.

Is Vick carrying his team as much as the box score suggests? (4 td after 2.5 qtrs w/ a limited running game)

Overall he played well due to the fact that his receivers actually made some plays that NFL receivers should make and there werent many drops.

The INT was one helluva play by Demarcus Ware.

A nice night by Vick, but when the D can't stop anyone, it is hard to win...

The Falcon's do not have an offense that is good at coming from behind. No matter Vick's personal statistics, he does not have the capability to bring his team back from a 10-point deficit, alone.

Vick breaks 34-year-old rushing record

PAUL NEWBERRY

Associated Press

ATLANTA - Michael Vick broke a 34-year-old record and can set his sights on another milestone - 1,000 yards.
The Atlanta Falcons' one-of-a-kind player eclipsed Bobby Douglass' season record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in Saturday night's 38-28 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Vick broke off an 11-yard run with 10 1/2 minutes left to go past Douglass, who ran for 968 yards with the Chicago Bears in 1972. Vick wound up with 990 yards, though he hurt his groin in the second half and finished the game on the bench.

not sure I get this statement. They were down 14-0 to Washington a few weeks ago and he brought them back to win. They were down 14-0 again last night and he had them up 28-21 in the 3rd quarter. The D just couldn't stop Dallas.
