Michigan Man: Tractor Traylor

Traylor was chosen sixth by Dallas in the 1998 draft. He was traded that day to Milwaukee for Dirk Nowitzki.

Give me a couple more years, I'm still trying to figure out which team got the best end of this deal. :tongue2:

The worst thing these inner city kids can do when making it to the NBA is string along their druggy friends. Those people are good for nothing for a reason.

In all fairness this guys drug enterprise was more successful than traylor's basketball career. I dont think Traylor strung him along, I think Traylor was used and played for a fool.

His claim to fame:

1998
#6 Robert Traylor (1st round) (draft day trade to Milwaukee for the rights to #9 Dirk Nowitzki and the rights to #19 Pat Garrity - who was then traded to Phoenix along with Bubba Wells, Martin Muursepp, and Dallas' 1999 1st round pick for Steve Nash)

Remember When?

When OSU was recruiting the Tractor, he said how very interested in OSU he was. But when he said, 'when I sign down there, we'll probably win 2 or 3 NCAA championships", I knew he was playing OSU for the fool. He was, and signed with Meatchicken soon thereafter.

Never much care for a guy who strings the Buckeyes along......sorry he screwed up and affected his life, as well as those of his family and kids, but don't really care about this guy.......or his story.

:gobucks3: :gobucks4: :banger:

The game of life is hard to play, gonna lose it anyway, so this is all I have to say.......
