Henne's whole game is based on a stud WR he can lob it up to and a powerful running game that keeps D's honest. Thats true of many QB's however. Look at his Soph year when Edwards left and MM hadn't stepped up yet.

Henne is the prototypical "game manager" QB to me, a college Trent Dilfer. Nothing wrong with that, but put him in a situation where he has to throw 30 times to win and he can't do it.

Agree 100% Jax.

I dont think Henne plain sucks as a QB. I just don't see him getting any better since his Senior year in HS. I mean, I suppose on one level, just playing college ball has made him better owing to better competition and reps. But, I just don't see him doing anything that he didn't do as a Freshman... same style of play (lob to 'money' reciever), same decision making (which was never terrible, I might add). Granted, I don't watch him all year long.

Does it really count as Henne beating Notre Dame when Michigan's defense practically scored as many points as Notre Dame did?

Hart needs to learn to keep his mouth shut. If he had a coach who had any kind of discipline over his players, Hart wouldn't be permitted to say stuff like that.

Does it really count as Michigan's defense beating Notre ame when Brady Quinn was completing more TD passes to guys in blue than guys in green? :p

Watch the game again. What Hart needs to get through his thick skull is that when things mattered, when the game was really on the line, Ohio State's defense, offense and special teams were ready and came through. Michigan had ample opportunities to grab the lead or hold off the Buckeye offense and couldn't do it, last year or this.

I hope so, nothing would be nicer than having Mike Hart be the Wolverine who talked and talked and talked but could never get it done. I hope he ends up a Detroit Lion, that would be great.
