You'd better start with an asking price....he sucked and the results on the field in multiple leagues has proven it so....

He was a tweener before anyone even cared he was Gay. He announced it, became a celebrity and that only somewhat covered the fact he's slow, he's undersized and he beat up on less than stellar competition on Mizzou's joke of a schedule.
Most, if not all, GMs were concerned, to varying degrees, about the locker-room dynamics of having an openly-gay player...even E$PiN ragged on it. Obviously someone went ahead and took a flyer on him. He may have been slow and overrated, but the fact that the SEC's "premier" defensive player (even if in name only) can't even make a roster and could barely make the CFL indicates there's more to play than just him being not as good as advertised.

Believe what you will....I'll just stick to the facts at hand instead of trying to figure out what people are thinking behind the scenes...

I'm not looking for an argument. You're going to believe what you want, I'm just going to stick with the results on the field, as both I and several others predicted.
Not saying he wasn't overrated and that he deserved to either by drafted higher or not at all...just saying his preference had an impact. If you're looking for "facts" on whether or not prominent personnel within pro football had concerns on Sam being gay, look no further than Tony Dungy:

Tony Dungy Says He Wouldn't Want To "Deal With" Taking Michael Sam

And the media continues with its fascination with gay athletes coming out. The below "news" was on the front page of Deadspin today along with being on ESPN's ticker:

Brewers Prospect Comes Out As Gay

Keeping in mind that Dungy is one of the most conservative guys in the NFL.

That is not surprising in the least considering his religious background.
Totally agree. There are varying degrees of conservatism and liberalism in any large organization like the NFL. The NFL is a bit different though in that due to its nature as a totally male-dominated entity and one of the most physically demanding sports on the planet, it tends to be quite a bit less liberal, along with the "tough guy" mentality many have.
