Michael Phelps - How many gold medals in Beijing?

Seriously. I look like a cat thrown in the water when I attempt the butterfly. :p

I think he has the rest of the golds in the bag at this point.
Somewhere, somehow, I think there's an lolcat for just such a thing.

I think he'll win the IM without it being real close, I don't see Cseh or Lochte staying with him. And the US should own the medley relay.
Problem is, that was a fairly close-ish race when it was 400 yards - at 200 yards, he doesn't have the chance to use his endurance to beat them, nor does he have a full 100 yards of freestyle to catch up if his breaststroke is poor.

Now he has two days to rest until #6 (200 IM - Thursday night).
Like I said, it's really not quite two days. He has to qualify first. I think that's a plus for him though because it'll put his competition on equal footing as far as rest.

You were wrong, the relay team won #5 (4x200 freestyle relay) and it wasn't even close. Now he has two days to rest until #6 (200 IM - Thursday night).

Wrong in a big way. Saw the interview last night and he said that he got water in his goggles and that f-kd up his race. He was pissed not tired.

Dude is the man.
