I'd imagine it happens to Navy, Air Force, and Army a decent amount. Army runs the option, right?

Just once this year between the three schools. Army out-rushed Buffalo 320-41 and lost 27-24. The only other loss that was even close was Navy's loss to Ball State, where they out-rushed them 346-162.

Some other sick numbers:

AFA out-rushed SDSU 401-35 and Southern Utah 433-7.
Navy out-rushed SMU 404-(-13) and Towson 558-30.

MSU can still go to the Rose Bowl. If MSU and tOSU win out, and PSU's only loss is to MSU, Sparty wins the tie-breaker for the Rose Bowl because they didn't schedule any FCB (1-AA) opponents this year.

I'm not kidding. I looked up the tie-breaker in the Big Ten media guide. There's now a sticky thread in the main football forum about tOSU's BCS bowl possibilities.

Now I get why only two people can play rock-paper-scissors.

I'd also figure it happened to Minny under Mason at least a couple times. stpaulgopher was talking about rushing for almost five hundy against TSUN and still losing.
