That fan is definitely in the minority! Most Miami fans are falling over themselves to try and get Miami in the B1G and get more brand recognition

if your fear of joining a conference is that you don't carry enough weight to NOT be screwed by the refs, you're kinda realizing where you stand in the CFB pecking order, aren't you? I doubt Oklahoma or Texas fans have that at the top of their lists of concerns joining the SEC.

Miami has managed to win 0 ACC titles and only make it to the conference championship game 1 time since joining that constantly very weak conference. Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, & Pitt all have more titles and title game appearances. (Boston College and UNC have also made it 2 times to their 1 as well)

They've got a lot bigger problems than refs.

Even Jacksonville and Tampa are long hauls by car.

I would suggest that if the Canes were to join the B1G, that every time they were scheduled to play in Columbus that it be in November, and a replay of "The Flag" is on a constant loop on the video boards.
