So their only MNC--tainted as it is--makes them awesome? What have they done since--not that they did anything in the Fiesta Bowl except hurt McGahee.
They were made to look ridiculous against a chitty (relativley) USC team.
Since then, we've gone 3-3 in BCS bowl games. How many have they even BEEN in?buckeyemania11;1679355; said:already some good bits of comedy on the Cryami scout message board

THIS is a good one
what exactly has Cryami done since that game?
I talk to a lot of GT fans and OSU Fans and its funny but outside the canes fans many really just don't know about what is coming along in Coral Gables . These are some of the things that many "football fans" don't know. Because there is not one major standout. But many college football fans don't know about the depth of great talent at the U .
-The fact that we have 6 receivers that are Future all American type players that really no one even knows about with exception of Hankerson and to be honest he is not that well known either outside of Miami. All of these guys could have 50-75 catches on any given season a few at the same time. This is the most stacked WR core in the country. And no one outside of Miami talks much about that.
-Same goes true for RB's. I don't ever remember a team having this many talented runners. I saw a article the other day in an Atlanta paper that talked about how GT reloads at Rb. and they won't see a drop off. Are you kidding There is not another RB core in the country with a better team of RB's. We have 5 guys that could all have 1,000 yards if they were given the ball 12-17 times per game.
-The defense has numerous positions that will be playing 5 and 6 guys at the same position. DE is an example of this. Again this is unheard of and reminds me of 2001 when we would inter-change 7 and 8 players every few plays. Our db's and safety’s are not as deep but there is some real talent there also
I could go on and on but it truly is amazing how this deep this team is getting and how little you hear of some of these things. I know we still have challenges but I think in a few years we will be watching a whole lot of these guys in the NFL again. There will be a whole new influx of Miami players back in the NFL.

every freaking WR and HB they have is a "future all star" and they go 5 and 6 deep with quality players at every position supposedly

You should know by now that there is only one "scUM"...
CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Miami quarterback Jacory Harris will miss the Hurricanes' spring practice because of an injury to his throwing hand.
The news wasn't unexpected after Harris struggled with a balky thumb for much of the second half of last season. Miami officials made the announcement Wednesday.
Running back Graig Cooper, whose 2010 season is in doubt after a major knee injury in Miami's bowl loss to Wisconsin, is also out for the spring. Others include kicker-punter Matt Bosher, linebackers Jordan Futch and Ramon Buchanan, offensive lineman Joel Figueroa, defensive lineman Levi Paalua and running back Lee Chambers.
Defensive backs Ryan Hill and JoJo Nicholas will be limited this spring, as will defensive lineman Marcus Forston.
Miami opens spring practice Tuesday.

If we let Terrelle loose, our D plays as it did last year...picking up where it left off, and one of our backs out of the stable has a big game, there's no reason why we shouldn't destroy these queens. They were inconsistent last year at best and showed small flashes of good play (good at best). Finishing 19th, 9-4 and losing to Wisky in their bowl game isn't enough to convince me that they're going to hang with us. Heck, I would sell my left testicle for an old-fashioned, Cooperesque, 70+ vs. Pitt/Rice style thrashing. If Marve/Harris (whoever starts) doesn't play the game of his life...then this could be over before it starts. Call me optimistic, but I don't think they're on our level. Not in our house at least.
