USC's offense was pretty good last year. Oregon's was one of the most explosive in the country. 2008 Texas was one of the best in the country. tOSU held them all pretty much in check. Do some research, don't just throw out blanket statements based on a couple of games from 3 and 4 years ago. Also, given da u's recent history, defensive smack might not be the path you want to travel down. This is not the defenses that struggled in big games from 2006 through early 2008. The weaknesses on those teams are now a strength.

Again, why do you continue to bring up '06 and '07 like it has any relevance to this game? Did you watch last year's Rose Bowl by chance? That defense is much more indicative of the type of defense you will see Saturday and it was this substantially similar defense that shut down Oregon's up tempo explosive offense that was supposed to rack up 40 on us and run around us all game.

wow, imagine that. I'm just glad you have the market cornered on changes...

even though one squad has actually demonstrated drastically different defense & toughness over an entire season, due in large part to a lot different personnel, while the other squad (Miami O) has one game against a cupcake to back up their changes.

Seems like a very fair assessment on your part.

I think Miami's offense has improved, but your stance is remarkably hypocritical.

Bringing up games from 3 and 4 years ago while conveniently ignoring ones from the past two is not "talking football", it's selective reasoning to better fit your argument.

How have we not made any points? Your talking about a TE cracking on a safety on a PA rollout away, and bringing up games against Florida and LSU as if they really have anything to do with the current team.

We've brought up stats and performances that the current group of players have had... all your fanbase has done is throw out random predictions like Jacory throwing for 350 yards and OSU's defense not being able to handle the no huddle attack of the Hurricanes.
