(12 min mark)

He was starting two years ago over Hines, got dinged up for the rest of 08 and then missed the following season with brain trauma after getting cheapshotted by a Florida fan.

Keep trying

wtf...u gave up 41 to fl and 38 to lsu why would i need to keep trying....i think the reason osu has good defensive numbers every year is the big ten doesn't have very explosive offenses to begin with....cause when the weather sucks you need to grind the ball....so in the last few years i haven't seen some awesome defensive machine here when u play talented teams outside the big ten...

Watch some film!! When Lamar Miller takes one to the house you will see.

OSU has little film on our no huddle, just the FAMU game. You can be ready for the tempo, but you have to execute on D. Confusion causes chaos.

Absolutely agree. Man I hope Heacock has seen a multiple tempo team before...

Yes. Did I stutter? If the true bad call of the game was actaully called, the game ends 17-14 Buckeyes.

If you are truly to stupid, stubborn, or ignorant to grant that fact...well you are definitely one of the typical "pass interference bullshit!!!!" posters who really cannot offer anything of substance to this site. That makes you into a troll, trashtalking, par for the course stereotype that we simply remove from here.

Did I stutter?

hard to get a no huddle going when you are throwing incompletions and running for <3 yards per carry

like Cryami will be experiencing Saturday

That's not talking Xs and Os.. that's making bold statements as if your stating some kind of fact.

Watch some film... what the fuck does that even mean. Dude, I watch as much football as anyone, but I'm not breaking down film. That's why I'm asking you what is so impressive about this "speed" you keep talking about.

Uh huh... like I said... Texas. I suppose if you buy the Ohio State can't match the speed bullshit, your position seems self evident. It's still not talking football. It's actually pretty sill to think Miami's going to win because they have "football speed" (undefined) and "run a no huddle" which they have limited film on.

Ok.. don't keep trying then. If all you need is two games against two teams who were playing for a NC to convince you to see what you set out to see in the first place, there's not point in debating it.

Good luck to ya.

Oh... and one more thing:

12/30/2005 vs. Louisiana State (11-2) L 3 40 @ Atlanta, GAPeach Bowl
and
9/6/2008 @ Florida (13-1) L 3 26

That's all I need to see. 6 points aginst LSU and Florida. At least Ohio State put em in the EZ. :shake:

Ohio State was the first team to beat 5 (FIVE) ten win teams last year. We aren't playing slouches.

Ok so you couldn't handle Wisconsin's running game, and couldn't break their defense.

Well I'll match the running game of Wisconsin with ours, and i'll RAISE you a Defense in ours.

Let's say you throw the ball 40 times and complete ALL 40. Well that means you're completing 10 yards per catch. So there goes your quick pass theory because that's NOT a quick pass. well lets say you complete better than HALF of your passes at 25-40 that's now around 15 yards per catch!! That or you expect you players to catch a 3 yard quick pass and break NUMEROUS tackles and take atleast 3-4 catches over 40+ yards.

Add that with Miami's Offensive line not being on the same level as OSU's Dline and that's just dumb.

:slappy:

ask Texas and Oregon how that "awesome defensive machine" works....

OSU has faced Texas' no huddle, Oregon's no huddle, Michigan's no huddle, Illinois' no huddle... somehow I think a team with as much experience on the defensive side of the ball as we have won't be that confused when the offense doesn't huddle up after every play.
And Miami's offense is not as consistent as Texas & Oregon's offense was and while very talented, do not have the weapons that Texas had:

QB Vince Young
RB Selvin Young, Jamaal Charles
FB Henry Melton
WR Limas Sweed, Quan Cosby, Billy Pittman
TE Jermichael Finley

WR is the only spot where Miami has speed comparable to that unit. Vince, Charles & Finley were all ridiculous athletes, and they were held in check.

Oregon had more speed as well.

Keep clutching to the juvenile speed stereotype as though it is a major factor here, let alone a mismatch in your favor.

Games are won in the trenches, and often without much blazing speed, as you learned last bowl season, and OSU found against LSU.

For anyone looking at signs and omens you need to look no further than my nuts.

I thought that they would never drop, but they have. And they are as big as I have ever seen them.

Some folks like to rub them for luck. Many stick their hands in their pockets and play with them throughout the entire game. Some even like to kiss them before each contest.

I like to poke holes in mine and wear them around my neck.

I have over a thousand drying as we speak. Biggest harvest in several years. Perhaps since 2002.

A big year is in store for the Buckeyes indeed!!

Seriously - this is a great harvest.
