My guess is the league office doesn't want the $100K loss bounty to be true, and Ross surely is never going to admit to it. Flores will need some corroboration to the claim or else the league will just refuse to believe. Its more ownership-friendly to say there's not enough proof and conclude it didn't happen, and obviously that is the direction Roger Goodell will go if at all possible.

At first I didnt like the trade for Hill but it has grown on me after examining the entire situation. Losing picks is brutal but the anchor to making the trade was for Armstead which I've been begging for all offseason. Add him to the line and move over the LT to RT and the line immediately gets a lot better. New RBs and resigning Gesicki is a big deal for the Offense. The Defense has been good if not great at times so keeping them off the field for breaks and scoring with new weapons might actually be a big step forward. Jaylan Waddle, Tyreek Hill and Devante Parker with Gesicki is pretty damn good - on paper. See if they can all stay healthy and get Tua to throw it more than 10 yards down the field.

I guess coke sales are back up again in South Beach. After Hill's highest paid WR contract signed earlier this month now Xavian Howards' highest paid DB contract to stay. As a fan that's awesome to get him to stay but could be disasterous long-term on these contracts.

Teddy Bridgewater is looking at 3rd string the way Thompson is playing. Man he's been fire the first two preseason games. Granted it's preseason but he is also playing with a lot of guys who wont make the roster. Tua better play his ass off this season is all I can say
