Well, it appears Larry Coker has kept part of the Miami tradition alive. I just saw the chaos from their game against Florida International. Apparently Miami is still a team full of thugs and degenerates - but nowadays those thugs aren't any good at football.

If the ACC and whatever conference FIU is in had any balls, both of these teams would be suspended from their next game - as in being forced to forfeit. There's no room for this trash in college football.

the classy Cryami fans are taking it well.....

Miami fans have become caricatures of themselves.

Sadly, I don't think this Miami team could beat that football team made up of real gangbangers from that movie starring The Rock (ironically, from The U himself.)

OK, so it's not so much "sad" as it is "amusing".

Tough choice for recruits:

Come to Ohio State, and become part of a family.

Go to The U, and be a member of a posse.

But I guess that there will always be plenty of kids who opt for the latter....

Miami's thug rep cost them in the 80's and it will cost them again. If a program makes a consistent point of recruiting thugs-MSU, da U, V-Tech -the team will eventually implode from discipline issue. I watched the OSU game today w/ a friend who spent a couple of days in Lansing w/ the MSU team in June, observing the summer strength and conditioning routine, and he commented on the number of straight "thug" types on the team- the type of player who are there to ball for themselves and nothing else-not the team, not the school, not a degree.

In MSU's case, a lot of that attitude comes from having JUCO mercenaries (there are about 20 on MSU's current roster).

The next time that Ohio State "loses" a recruit to The U, I'll be glad that we lost him.
