Sorry, but I think the entire board was pulling for Miami.

Our SOS next year is more important than yours this year. :tongue2:
Thousand of Noles crying in unison is not a bad thing.

The Leon County Domestic Abuse Hotline is probably melting about now...

Not bad, not bad at all. I'm really impressed with this Jacory Harris guy. He's good now but he has the potential to be a special player. And B. Harris had some really great plays. Wish this guy would have been a Buckeye.

What a fun game to watch. If Randy Shannon wasn't such a dickhead; then I might even feel better about the outcome. Greg Cooper and Greg Reid (don't know if I spelled the first names correctly) were a joy to watch for each team.

Why they gave away fifteen seconds I'll never know. Why they did not roll Ponder out for a quick slant pass or run the previous plays...I've no clue.

Would have had one more play, as he would not have been backpeddling for infintiy before he threw.

And I did not tape it, but wasn't there one second left when the ball hit the ground?

Anyone??? Anyone???

In other news, Nole Fans react to the loss...

I always pull for da U (unless its another school starting with O that has something of the greatest football team in history), and all the Noles fans are just kicking themselves. One of my neighbors is a Nole and he's still demanding they review the play thinking the guy caught the ball and it only came out a bit later after he had caught it. I can still hear him with his wife saying, "see, look right here, he had it" Then another one of my neighbors is a Miami alum and he was just laughing at the other guy at the end of the game.

Going to one of these games is always a blast. I went to many UM (that's not scUM) FSU games in the last 30 years, and just absolutely a wonderful football experience.

Jacory Harris does have ice water in his veins. His HS won two straight 6A championships in Florida and also a mythical national champsionship. Having watched him play there, nothing fazed him then and nothing fazes him now.

There probably should've been, but it was close enough that they could just wave it off. Not sure why they waited to roll Ponder out so late. Good game though. Miami should have a good team this year, better than I thought they'd be.

Miami looked much quicker than they did last year and their offensive line finally was able to give the QB a bit more time to throw. Harris impressed me a lot. In high school, he used to roll out a lot more than he did even last year and was a run threat. He looked like he did when he played at Northwestern HS in Miami, just clear poise. Defense still needs a bit of work, but I figure they'll learn from their mistakes after watching film. They have a bye week next weekend.

Also looking forward to the series with Miami in the coming years.
