I don't understand why the Vegas bookies would make a team a .5 points underdog. I can see and even game or 1.5 points but .5 points in a game is not going to make any difference because a college game cannot end in a tie Anybody have an explanation

Vegas doesn't do that, they call it a pick'em. I changed it to 0.5 just to give it a consistent look. Some Vegas places had it at 1 point, but I always go to half-points in order to avoid ties. They had this one figured right.

I could have, but I was going with Virginia.

Actually, I do the vBets one day, and then make my bets at a later time. I usually try to avoid the 1.5 point line, because it sucks to have your team win a game by 1 point and lose the vbet by half a point.
