If the officials aren't going to police after the whistle, Epping is. I don't have much of a problem with it, and Jerry Kill doesn't either.

Minnesota offensive lineman is on the ground getting double-teamed well after the whistle with no looks of stopping, and Epping comes over to shove a player off and he gets called?

That same defender then got it on the next play after the whistle...maybe not the smartest decision, but Epping certainly let it be known he won't stand for it.

Epping was called an idiot as he accrued multiple personal fouls in a row, but I honestly believe it lit a fire under the Gophers. The officials were doing nothing to stop Tech from playing dirty all over the field, so he took justice into his own hands. It looked ridiculous as he did it, but it showed fight and grittiness. How'd you like to see Jake Stoneburner getting mauled 20 yards from the LOS with no help from the ref, and say, Andrew Norwell there to do something but stay out of the fray?

The best part was, with nothing to lose, Epping really showed that jack-ass the next play by driving him straight into the ground after the whistle when it was already 3rd and 40.

I had no issue with it then, and think it lit a fire.

I agree. TT has to be the dirtiest team I've ever seen, and so long as it doesn't cost them the game and the refs continued to not call it, good move for him.
