Ohio State landed Woodby’s commitment back in October and since then the Buckeyes have built the best defensive back recruiting class in the 2025 cycle. Woodby was back in Columbus on Saturday for the Ohio State spring game and really liked what he saw on the field and what he heard from the coaches. He also liked spending time with fellow Ohio State commits Devin Sanchez and Na’eem Offord. The Buckeyes aren’t the only program Woodby is in contact with. Oregon and Auburn are trying to get him to rethink his commitment. He was recently at Auburn and liked how much experience their coaching staff has on the defensive side of the ball. Woodby has visited Oregon in the past and he has a former teammate in

already on the team to give him an unfiltered look at what the team is really like.
Bump...AE on Rivals has gone on record for months thinking that Woodby won't end up signing with OSU. Thinks it could be Miami or Oregon in the end. Sees him as more of an ATH, who is still figuring out his true position. But believes that his loss just strengthens OSU's views on McNutt(though I'd love for that to also lead to getting a stronger hold with Brew)
My bad. I was trying to reiterate my previous post, and bring a light to Woodby flipping to Oregon in the near future. AE has been saying it for months and Birm all but confirmed it. One of the guys over at BH also said the same. It’ll sting, but the talent they can still bring in would still keep OSU as the #1 DB classContext…..????
Not sure what the appropriate emoji is here. Always bummed to lose a solid commitment, but excited about how the class could finish. My bad. It would bum me out for sure. One of the best nickel corners in this class and we have outside guys, so to me Woodby was a perfect fit and talented. We'll figure it out if he defects, but just seemed like he wasn't a concern about flipping. Not sure what the appropriate emoji is here. McNutt is supposed to be his replacement and play the Nickel/S spot that Knowles likes in his defense but hasn’t been able to utilize yetIt would bum me out for sure. Interesting. I see McNutt as more of a true safety, but he is athletic enough to probably fill that role.McNutt is supposed to be his replacement and play the Nickel/S spot that Knowles likes in his defense but hasn’t been able to utilize yet
Nothing is set until they actually set foot on campus, but I think McNutt or even Stewart can play S/Nickel position. And Walton is able to land Brew, that’s 3 CBs over 6’1, not sure if any of them can play NickelInteresting. I like Brew in this spot even over Woodby but it would be amazing to get all of them!Nothing is set until they actually set foot on campus, but I think McNutt or even Stewart can play S/Nickel position. And Walton is able to land Brew, that’s 3 CBs over 6’1, not sure if any of them can play Nickel
