using his same logic... it must be a snap for a HS coach to win a natl championship... and a state championship should be merely routine... just as long as a coach really wants to win one...

I'm losing respect for a degree from ND... despite coming from a HS run by the same brotherhood as ND...

can someone please explain to me why we keep letting this troll back on the board? despite his 'vacations,' all he does is flame the Ohio State Program, Tressel, etc. while at the same time, trying to garner some kind of support for his sorry ass team, which no one here cares about...

seeing that this is an OHIO STATE board, and NDChump contributes absolutely NOTHING from an Ohio State perspective, and usually nothing more than headaches and dumbass arguments which contain misguided (at best) logic, what is the value of having him here?

I second LVbuckeye. All ND chump does is troll..when he wants to talk about football. Of course, every once in a while - when he's no talking football- he complains about his mother-in-law and talks about drinking orange creme maragaritas..whatever. He doesn't contribute anything to ohio state football discussion.

Agree 100% with the above 2 comments. I've run this by the mods last time he got out of hand with his stupid shit and he got a minor vacation from Mili. I think it needs to become permanent.

He adds zilch, is an unabashed flamer and if you give him credit for being around along time(the only defense of his behavior I have ever heard) then kindly look at where his member ID is in realtion to mine and give me the same courtesy.


EDIT****Hell, LV's ID # is even lower than mine. Thats 2 people out of the first 100 or so that would like to see him gone.

I have him blocked. It's actually pretty fun going through these threads reading everyone ripping on him and not having to look at his replies. I'd recomend it. Some of the stupidity shines through when someone quotes him though.

I had him blocked for a while but he still hijacks threads and spews his ignorance all over the board. If your neighborhood has a peeping tom do you just draw the curtains a little tighter and hope he goes away or do you call the cops?

NDChief, here's a little prediction. It's all opinion. There's no need to respond with other opinion. I just want to put this in the locker because one day, I'm gonna bring your attention back to this.

All will not be happy at Notre Dame under your new coach. He will make too many demands, cost too much and ruffle all the wrong feathers.

His tenure will end in a very ugly mess. The problems will happen this season when he fails to produce against such high expectations. It will not last three seasons.

We'll chat then.

When your guy wins a NC at any level as a head coach can talk smack. Unless you have coached a sport at a high school level or above, you cannot really comprehend the job somebody has done with another guy's players. No matter what the talent level is you still must win it on the field. The quote in the Sporting News actually sums up some of the intangibles a coach brings to his/her team. Quote: “Michigan is a physical team and they are extremely talented but they don’t show up every week. I think they’re pompous, over-recruited, arrogant-type kids. Michigan is really the only school in our league that recruits nationally. Which school has better players, Ohio State or Michigan? The Michigan kids have more talent but the Ohio State kids play harder. And to me, that’s a microcosm of the two programs.�

Say what you want OSU since Tresell took over has been prepared for every big game. He negated Miami's speed, Kansas State's running game and found holes in each opponent's defense in which his team could exploit. Halftime adjustments? Just watch Washington State (2002) for a clinic on that aspect of the game.

CW is probably a wonderful coach, but don't try to tear our guy down in order to make your guy look good. Charlie's record in the end will speak for itself just like JT's already does.

Wrong. Tressel's four national titles, and six title games, at YSU all came after he had been there for over five years, so all the players were his. And the players that Tressel had from Cooper responded better to Tressel than they did to Cooper. Your blatantly ignorant trolling is about to get you your last, and final, banning...

Anyway to the guys/gals I have shared laughs with take care and best of luck to you. Despite our differences this is one fantasctic board full of great people many of whom I have a great deal of respect for!! In an internet sort of way I consider some of you to be friends! I was just trying to make a point today and NEVER intended to bad mouth your coach. I may have gone about it wrong but many of my posts were just trying to make for some interesting, spirited discussions. I will pop in from time to time but my regularity here is probably over. Take care gang, you are a great group!
