Maurice and the Combine (MERGED)

Clarett's soapbox is considerably smaller today than it has been. Few people outside of those Buckeye fans loyal to him are pulling for his success. Nationally he has lost his ability to capture the attention of the press. Today Maurice is "old news" with nothing new to contribute. Most consider him a bitter kid who will blame anyone but himself for his failures. Unfortunately he has succeeded in creating a negative perception of our university and the damage done is real; however, I don't believe he can say anything more that will further tarnish Ohio State regardless of how hard he tries.

that might his future job as a chef at burger king

fans that feel sorry for him are not true fans and are the type of fans that love osu but, also, cheer for nd,scum, south scum and usc all the time.

maybe, he can join the army :)

Don't worry, Sand. Someone will take him, very late, but someone will take a chance at what must now be a very bargain price. He also shows that he knows he should keep his mouth shut and stop this nonsense.

How long can he pull out revelations anyway? Even ESPiN must eventually tire of this. The thrill is gone, he is his own worst enemy and even ESPiN will know that the time has come to move on.

pootetang clarett days of damage to the ohio state university have been over.

The media tried a long time to report everything that idiot sAID and it came out 90% untruthful.

Friend of mine at work is a scum grad and deals with trucking companies and he hates osu as much as I hate scum but, he got to meet Ex-player jack tucker during work and all that Tucker said was that CNN and espn are the biggest liars and changed what he said like he was bashing OHIO STATE. He also, said pagac and drew carter are still pissed off how their words were reported.

THE ONLY THING THEY AGREED ABOUT THAT CLARETT KEPT SAYING WAS EVERY COLLEGE HAS THESE PROBLEMS FROM BOOSTERS AND AGENTS.

They all acted like agents were more damaging then boosters which, is scary

This is form SI.com today: Take it for what it is worth...we know that this kid says erractic things. However, he wouldn't be able to just show up to this thing...You would think that he would have asked permission ahead of time and been granted the opp. to work out!

Taking a back to the drawing board approach, Clarett said he would hold a pro day workout after all, scheduling it for March 8 at Ohio State. On Thursday, Clarett had said he would not conduct a pro day workout, choosing instead to do all his drill work at the combine.

If OSU is letting this jerk-off work out there, I might have to rethink my Buckeye Club donation this year. The thought of even one penny of my contribution being burned for his benefit - after all of his bullshit - pisses me off. :mad1:

I sincerely hope this isn't true.
he worked out at theOSU last year for pro scouts too.

He better join the army to be safe:) or whoever at osu is letting him comeback should be sent to iraq to do some reporting:)[/QUOTE]

it's so easy for a 18-19 yr old kid to make many mistakes. Specially when you have greedy agents and lawyers to tell you that you can be making tons of money. It would be hard to correct your mistake. Even if he's playing us, we can give him a chance. It's not giving him a whole lot.
I believe Coach tressel is a good man and if he has anything to do with this. He will handle it the right way.

This really sounds absurd. I heard the quotes about his working out at OSU, does anyone know for certain that he will be doing it this year? I thought Tressel had imposed a rule that former players couldn't work out unless they had graduated, or were working their way toward their degree. I'm thinking Mo probably hasn't made much progress toward his degree. Does OSU have some legal obligation to support this?

I want to clarify the point that I really wish Mo no ill will. I have posted my opinion on that in the past. But I also don't think tOSU should be having any part of his push to redeem himself with the NFL. There has to me more to this story that I just don't get. Anyone know more?
