Maryland Terrapins (official thread of the turdles)

Just sayin': I don't think he is quite as good as his brother; but, he still could be a "game changer" for Maryland. He could solidify them as #4 in the B1G East; he maybe even makes them competitive for the #3 spot.

Haha no... just no.

He's not his brother number 1 and number 2 is locksley is a horrendous coach. He can recruit but can't do much of anything else

And 3, they don't have the talent. McFarland, Leake, Brooks and Keandre are gone. Those are their only 2 offensive worth mentioning, and top 2 tacklers, sacks, and forced fumbles.
They had a VTech transfer QB last year... as a frosh at VTech he threw for 2700yds 7.6avg 60% 19-8... no award banquet invites there, but respectable - especially as a true frosh.
They got three 4/5* guys in 2020 and it was lower ranked than '17 and '18 classes that already made up bulk of 2deep.
Coming off a 3-9 (1-8) year... just dont see where the improvement will be.

I agree, but I just want them to be good enough to beat scUM, and this helps.

I have higher hopes for Schiano on that front... but would be hilarious to see both.

"You're in a desert, walking along in the sand, when all of a sudden you look down...You look down and see a tortoise, Leon. It's crawling toward you...You reach down and you flip the tortoise over on its back. Its belly bakes in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping. Why is that, Leon?"

I think we all know why. Leon was a god damn hero.

Maryland quarterback recruit Reece Udinski suffered a torn ACL this week, according to a report from Jeff Ermann of InsideMDSports.com. The injury with cause Udinski to miss the remainder of his spring season at Virginia Military Institute.

Udinski was scheduled to become part of Maryland’s football program after this season at VMI ended. It was expected that Udinski would provide some depth during offseason practices and workouts for the Terrapins, while Taulia Tagovailoa held down the starting job.

Udinski — a grad transfer for the Terrapins that committed to them in January — reportedly suffered the injury during a game against Samford last weekend. Although he suffered the torn ACL during the fourth quarter of the game, Udinski played the entire game and helped his team come back and get the win in overtime. He had 353 yards and three touchdowns in the game.
