I cringe every time a player I like considers Florida state. They've got that thug life mentality that Miami had in the 90s. Watched last nights game and it's no different on the field. They were chippy all night getting in the faces of the ttun players (not saying ttun wasn't the instigator). I saw a lot of nearly late hits and they loved that final shove after the whistle. Off the field Jimbo and TPD is a bunch of good ole boys. No desire to turn their players into good husbands and fathers.

I'll say Beck has no effect. Supposedly the Ohio State's lead recruiter for Marvin Wilson is Larry Johnson (i.e. not Beck) and (at this point) Wilson isn't listing Texas in his"final 5". Also, the Crystal Ball has LSU out in front (i.e. 59%):
