Quoted in the Chicago Trib, on the 1972 Dolphins team:
"The only person on that team I know about is the running back: Butkus"

And Shazor chimed in:
"He said Butt-kiss ... heh heh heh heh...."
Then they all went out and wanked on someone's porch.
This really is pathetic. How do you call yourself a football player and fuck that up?
To be fair to the scUMmer, I don't mind the fact that his ignorance is somewhat of an insult to those ice aged dolphins. They may have won every game in 1972, but they're a bunch of losers in my book for their cork-popping tradition.
They attempted to run, but michigan speed was no match for donut speed.

I disagree-that is a pretty special record to hold in the NFL. I think it is cool they cherish it the way they do.
I'm more selfish than that. I hope nobody ever wins 2 Heisman tropheys again...unless it's Ted Ginn.StadiumDorm said:It's a special record, but they diminish it by acting like selfish children everytime another great team loses its first game of the year. The fact is the '72 Dolphins got lucky this year that the Colts clinched so early, and didn't have anything to play for. Someday a team WILL go out and earn it and be undefeated. It will be difficult, because with a 16-game season, it's unlikely that a team 13-0 or 14-0 will have anything to play for. But that day will come, and the old Dolphins will mourn that day.... and I find that very sad.
I've always said that I don't care if someone else wins two Heisman trophies someday, as long as they earn it. If Leinart had been deserving of the trophy this year, I would not have been one bit sad to see that Archie Griffin was no longer the ONLY two-time Heisman trophy winner.
Jury awards $225K to former Michigan DB Jackson
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Former Michigan player Marlin Jackson was awarded $225,000 in a lawsuit against a fellow student who claimed the football player assaulted him in 2003.
A Washtenaw County jury ruled Thursday that Jackson was defamed by Shahin Farokhrany.
Farokhrany said he was assaulted with a bottle at a party and sued Jackson for $10 million. Jackson countersued, saying a bottle was not used and the accusation hurt his reputation in NFL pre-draft interviews.
Jackson's attorney Ellis Freatman III told the Associated Press that the jury award is roughly equivalent to the difference in income from being picked one or two spots higher in the draft.
