I think perhaps that this just might be a Mt Everest kind of deal. Why do people climb Mt Everest? Because it's there. In his defense, in all seriousness, if this girl is trolling NYC clubs I'm sure her days of innocence have long since passed her by. 8 years isn't really a big gap. She's probably more emotionally mature than him.

True, this chick is probably more experienced than the average 17 year old. I'm guessing daddy is too busy to care and mommy is having a competition with her to see who can bang the most dudes. Legally, as has been said, he did nothing wrong. Supposedly he didn't know that it was legal in NY and still proceeded to plow it. Creeeepy. I agree, too, that she is probably more mature than he is. Seems those USC QBs have a hard time adjusting to life outside of Southern Cal.

Friends of my family. Husband 41; wife 26. Started dating before she was 16 (he was then 30). Millionaires. Happy, happy couple, well-adjusted and socially very well accepted. Their early relationship could be a carbon copy of Sanchez and this girl.

Hard for me to see a problem here. I see lots of envy from the peanut gallery, very little substance of any misdoings. Give it a rest.

Just wondering where the line is. If they found their 16 year old daughter out with a 31 year old would that still be cool?

A female student, who is also 19, alleged that Sanchez sexually assaulted her in the early morning hours of April 26 at the Cardinal Gardens apartment complex near campus.

In a charge evaluation worksheet, the prosecutor said the woman admitted to "consensual kissing and petting" in bed and taking off her shirt and bra after Sanchez had entirely disrobed.
She also acknowledged staying in bed with Sanchez after he repeatedly tried to have sex with her, according to the prosecutor.
A couple who were in the next room during the alleged assault were unaware of any problem, according to the prosecutor. Afterward, the woman spent 20 minutes with the couple and "did nothing to convey through words or conduct that she had been assaulted," Taklender wrote.

25 year olds can be pretty immature, but trying to erase the distinction between the two is a huge stretch. If nothing else, the 25 year old has about a decade of experience dealing with men and know how to handle and identify the creeps (versus those that develop a quality bond under unusual age circumstances)

About 20 years ago, I was engaged to a 28-year-old who had a 2-year-old kid from her second marriage (I didn't learn about her first husband until after we had been engaged for a few months when I found photos of her and him in a file cabinet...that was my first hint of her instability). We eventually broke up, and she ended up getting married two more time over the following five years. Right before we broke up, I had a long conversation with her sister (who was two years younger), and she related to me that her sister never seriously dated until after she graduated high school and joined the Air Force. So, her being 28 years old with a young child meant absolutely nothing in relation to her being, or not being, mature. Now, is the median 25-year-old somewhat more mature than the median 17-year-old? Yeah, but not as much as most folks think.
