Mark Richt (ex- UGA & Miami Fla Head Coach)

Or Urban Meyer's.

Interesting thought, I just wonder what the relationship is between these two guys:

Will Mark Richt coach again? “Oh yeah, no doubt”

On Sunday the end of the line for Mark Richt at Georgia was finally reached. The Bulldogs and the head coach will go separate ways after a 15-season run in Athens, but this will not be the final stop for Richt as a head coach. On Monday, during a press conference with the media to address the coaching change, Richt was asked whether he will coach again.

“Oh yeah, no doubt,” Richt said in his response. “I’m going to listen to anybody that’s interested in talking to me,” Richt said when again asked about what’s next for the now former head coach of Georgia.

My guess is that he wants another head coaching job, i.e. not someone's offensive coordinator; but who knows?

Richt goes out with a "nice guy" tag and I've got to say he was a breath of fresh air in terms of disciplining his players and getting rid of those who couldn't conform to public opinion. Especially true when comparing Georgia to Florida State, Miami and Auburn.

That said, he started out as a first rate jerk with his, "everyone rush the field when we score," decision. The man certainly grew in the job and its sad to see someone who ran a clean program get the axe.

There's a lot of schools that will do worse than Richt this season. Virginia would be very fortunate to land him.

Don't know how much say he will have in where he goes, but I can't see him leaving a football school and conference for a basketball school and conference.. But then no one ever offered me 3M a year to coach track. Or even 10K to run track and CC.
