Bill Self, 2-7 (!) in Elite 8's.
Wow. Making it to 9 is amazing, but seeing that stat shocked me.

Some more shocking stats...
Kansas has lost five of seven in the Elite Eight including four of those times when Kansas was a one seed.
Self's teams have been a number one seed eight times. He has made the Final Four, one of those times.
Self has 10 losses to lower seeded teams since the 03-04 season (his first at Kansas.) Six of those came as a one seed.
If you are a bettor...In the Elite Eight, Self and Kansas have been favored eight times. He has lost six of them and covered only once.
