USC beats SMU, again. I knew I should've picked them, because of course I knew they'd win by 1 point. SMU had 3 time outs left and didn't use one to set up a shot. Ended up with a lousy one.

First time all season SMU lost after leading at halftime. They were up 8 today.

yeah, i went back and forth between usc and smu, especially right before submitting my last bracket edit. i thought the play-in game was an advantage for usc. i ultimately settled on smu, though. the good news for me is that i have baylor in the s16, so it's not that big of a loss. many have smu as an elite eight pick.

Hard to win only play 6 guys (though thats all SMU really has) against good athletes, USC might not be the best team but they are good enough to not be able to win with that.

SMUs lone bench player was 0/4 from the field (no FTs)

And while we're at it, fuck 6/11 games. No really, fuck them up the poon with the Statue of Liberty. I've gotten better at picking all the other ones (like when to go with a 5/12) but the 6/11 games still fuck me. Fuck all of you.

Getting killed on the boards. Really unfortunate considering their circumstances. Archie is an incredible basketball coach. I truly hope Ohio State is the only team that plucks him from Dayton. (It's bound to happen sooner or later)

Nothing was expected of Sparty this year, so of course they rolled The U by 20 points. Curious to see them match up with Kansas now.
