Really a believer in Xavier. Wisconsin getting plenty of open looks against this 1-3-1 defense though.

X has gone Man D now.

edit and back to zone again. Really do think Wisconsin has done well on offense, just missing shots right now.

Xavier had to switch early to their 'gnat buzzing around your head' defense. Guessing they wanted to wait till halftime, but got down and had to get aggressive. Seriously, though they play bump and get handsy like a gnat that you just can't seem to swat. Just about everything they do could be a foul but you just keep doing it and and the refs won't call it. So annoying to watch, but really effective.

UNI went into burn the clock mode with a 12 pt lead and 6 to go. Not the best idea. A lot of really bad shots, almost no motion in the first 15 seconds of shot clock. I understand waiting for the shot, but at least get some motion to try to open up a good shot.

Supposedly that doesn't seem to be much outside of their normal offense. They play the 5th slowest pace in the country.

It got ugly, but they were able to get some clutch 3's late in the shot clock.

Washpun, though he was stuck in the corner should have just done everything to stay strong with the ball. It was inbounded with 11 seconds, take the 10 second count, or even a possible tie-up. Don't throw the ball back into play.

Shocked. Pissed. This is the turning point for my bracket :lol: :(
