Calmer than you are.
NEVER I repeat NEVER read the book first. It'll just piss you off when you see the movie. It happens to me every time. I haven't read Friday Night Lights. From I've heard, the book is very controversial, and a lot deeper than the movie is. My advice. Watch the movie. Enjoy it for it's entertainment value, then read the book.Deety said:For the record... I'm not exactly salivating over the thought of seeing this, but TLJ is fun to watch even in awful movies - and there have been a few. Maybe I'll wait 3 or 4 weeks until this becomes the CBS movie of the week.
Somehow, I didn't get to Friday Night Lights, but that's definitely one I want to see! Reading the book first, though.
As for seeing this queer movie with TLJ and some hot chicks. Why do we insist on watching crap, just because it has some hot chicks in it. I've been guilty of this in the past. Until I found that I was saying "damn she's hot" after every show that I watched. Good or bad. There are so many ridiculously hot chicks on TV and Movies, that you can limit yourself to shit that you think looks good, and still meet your quota of hot chicks. Just say no to crappy shows with hot chicks in it.
