We had a guy in my unit in Okinawa in the mid-90s who married a gal in his shop and he took her last name. It was easy for him to do so in the military. He was such the wuss. He even kept her name after they got divorced after a year or so of marriage... :slappy:

More men taking wives' last names

Honestly, is there anything more emasculating that taking your wife's last name? Isn't it bad enough that we are not allowed to have sex with any other women? Now they want us to take their last names??

The newlyweds knew it would be surprising, but they never expected it to go quite so badly.
