Again, it's a great weekend! Friday night Piqua beat Springfield North 41-12. And I got my first varsity tackle! Then Saturday morning the JV beat Springfield North 25-8. I had 2 tackles, I leveled a kid, and almost recovered a fumble. Then THE BUCKEYES WON! Then today the BENGALS WON! I hope it's like this next week! GO INDIANS, BUCKEYES, BENGALS!

In the future, please don't besmirch the good name of the Buckeyes and Bengals by including the Indians with them.

Yea last week repeated its self. My team lost to Licking Valley 34-6. Horrible game. The refs were a joke. Calling every thing they could, and even at one point making up a penalty.

They would call little things like one of our players didn't have one of his straps buttoned on his chin strap. Or his jersey wasn't tucked in all the way. Later in the game I asked the official on our sideline if he was going to call one of Licking Valley's players for not having his jersey tucked in. His response to me, "Hell no".

But I will say one thing, that RB Licking Valley has(Storm Klein), is one big mother f-er. Must be 6'1-6'2, 220 lbs. He's a sophomore this year.

Last year he wasn't even on their varsity when we faced them. He ended up taking the starting job from a senior in the sixth game of the season. Rushed for 1200 yards in 5 games as a freshman.

He was starting at LB for Licking Valley also. As well as being their punter. He's not really fast, just strong as hell. He simply runs over people that get in his way. We contained him most of the game, but their FB gave us trouble.

That kid did not leave the field once the whole entire 1st quarter, until he got a slight injury with less than 10 seconds left when they first scored.

Watch out his senior year, he will probably be "Mr. Football".

You have a problem with authority don't you?

From what your saying Teddy, im surprised you didn't get penaltalized.

Yea really, I'm surprised it didn't happen.

The refs made up some penalty that game, one I've never heard of. Threw a flag against our QB for "confusion". Saying he couldn't of known who he was throwing the ball to. We scored on that play(85 yard TD pass), and they counted the TD. But moved us back 10 yards on the XP. Which we missed.

They were trying to find things to call. Like one time the ref came to our sideline and was looking at our sideline, trying to find one of our players over the line that all the players had to be behind. Everyone was behind the line.

Ref: "Coach"

Coach: "What"

Ref: Looking to sideline "Umm....Umm....Umm....Only 3 coaches are allowed in the box"

So yea, they were just trying to find stuff to call on us. We get that alot when we play games against out of City League opponents. The refs try to call every thing on us just because we are viewed as "the thugs from the city".

I was just going to say that maybe your considered a thug school and the refs might think you don't have any discipline on your team.

Yea were viewed as teams that have no respect and discipline. Which may be true for some teams in our league. But not all of them.

But that still doesn't mean the refs should do that to us. I've seen some bad refs, but nothing like we had in Licking Valley.

They actually took away a score from us. We punted the ball, and it touched one of LV's players on his shoulder. The ref even threw the bean bag. Our player picked up the ball, didn't hear no whistle, and everyone was like run. He ran 40 yards for a TD before the refs blew the whistle.

The official said he threw the bag because that is where our player picked the ball up, but he threw it before our player even touched the ball.
