Before drinking enough to pass out, one should self-insert a butt-plug to prevent such panks by alleged friends.

It may take some guts to put in the butt-plug: a.k.a. intestinal fortitude.

Note that in the last sentence, the butt-plug is next to the colon.

It's a simple solution - really quite alimentary.
