    A 26-year-old Denver businessman was arrested Sunday for allegedly ripping the head off a live, tame duck that resided in a hotel lobby's ornamental pond.

    Scott D. Clark was charged Monday with one count of felony animal cruelty for killing the duck at the Embassy Suites Hotel in St. Paul on Saturday.

    According to the criminal complaint Clark trapped the duck in a corner of the lobby then grabbed it and in one quick motion ripped its head off.

    Clark then took the body of the duck up to the fifth floor.

    I would venture to guess that the same guy on the street corner who's willing to sell the Brooklyn Bridge can get you a hotel lobby hunting license, if you asked him.

    I've stayed in that hotel a few times too and remember seeing those ducks and thought it's probably not a good idea to have live ducks in a hotel lobby. And just for the record, I've never hung out in the bathrooms at MSP. :paranoid:
