ESPNU 150 Watch List quarterback Malik Zaire (Kettering, Ohio/Archbishop Alter) had a chance to talk with an Ohio State assistant through Facebook early last week, and that talk convinced him to make the trip to Ohio State?s bowl practice on Saturday.

It was the first time Zaire had the chance to talk with new Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer, whose spread-option offense suits Zaire?s dual-threat ability well.

?We talked about football, the team and how he was coming here,? Zaire said. ?We also talked about what it takes to be the greatest.?
