Thanks for clearing that up. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the Big Ten's website contains a statement that is pretty much directly in opposition to the real rule.
Careful. The rules have changed since 2007. You have to go back to the 2007 Big Ten rule book, not the NCAA rule book as there is a period of time when the Big Ten was the only conference using replay.

The Big Ten began their replay pilot program in 2003 and instituted the system in 2004. In 2005 other conferences followed the Big Ten's example at their discretion. In 2006 replay was standardized across the NCAA with the timeout/challenge system.
