Well, looking good so far.Well, there is quite an amount of vCash wagered on this series.
This occurred due to a browser bug which was doing strange things - I couldn't post links using BP link icon inside posts (as I mentioned in a couple of other threads lately), and I couldn't see the amounts I typed into vBetting lines. I wanted to bet $80 million on the sweep (a typical bet for me, about 1.5% of my stash), but it ended up with an extra zero, or 800 million. I decided I didn't want to only have that much just on the sweep, so I intended to offset it by adding a v$400 million bet on the Orlando in 5 line (so I'd break even on a 5-game win, but still win a chunk on a sweep).
Once again, another 0 was entered when I keyed it, and due to my browser bug, I wasn't able to see the amount to double-check it before hitting the place bets button. So I now have 4.8 billion wagered on the Magic.
This is all true - I'm mentioning it because if Orlando does win in 5, I'll end up with 12 billion, but if Atlanta wins two games I'll have lost about 80% of my stash, and I'll no longer have the largest stack of vCash. Which would make jwinslow and Piney vHappy.
And I'm also pointing out that even when an elitist prick bookie makes a mistake on a wager - a bet made is a bet played.
Edit - and I've now restored my hard drive from an early backup, so hopefully those browser bugs are gone.
Score is starting to resemble the [lack of] effort now. This is hard to watch and I'm not even close to being a Hawks fan.
Not so much the score (yet), but the effort of Atlanta is a joke. They hardly look like professionals.
