Madden 2010 or NCAA 2010

Which game would you suggest for someone who can only pick up one?

I'm a much bigger college football fan, but Madden always seems to be a much better game. The features, graphics, and gameplay always seem to be slightly better in Madden.

Like I said though I prefer college football than NFL football, but I love both.

Which would you pick?

I'd say it depends on which is more important to you. If you prefer presentation, graphics, gameplay and such, then Madden is likely your game. If you don't mind a lack of those areas, and prefer the college format and unique college-based offenses, then NCAA is likely your game. Both games should be fine for you, but it really comes down to your preference level.

Maybe you should rent (or play at a buddy's house) each game first and then decide.

I get both each year and usually ignore Madden for the most part because I tend to prefer college football. After playing the Madden demo this year, I may spend more time with Madden, as I was very impressed with it's overall presentation and gameplay.

In terms of which game improved over the previous year's game, it's Madden and it isn't even close. NCAA 10 seems to fix the bugs of NCAA 09 but it also screwed a couple things up. In 09, speed was all that mattered. A 2* RB with 95 SPD was far more valuable than a 5* RB with 90 SPD. In 10, EA fixed it too much, if that's possible. I have LSU in IronBuckI's dynasty. I don't know how many times Holliday (99 SPD) has been caught from behind. I've lost count. And don't get me started on the Tecmo Defense. I hate it. I use it, but I hate it.

Madden improved everything. Madden 09 just wasn't fun. The running game was horrible (same speed issues as 09), player progression was a joke, and it just wasn't a fun game at all. This year's game comparatively is like night and day. The running game is fun again. I don't know about player progression (I've only played two franchise games), but if it's fixed, this may be a year I play Madden more often than NCAA.
