Played three games this morning back to back on the demo. When I first played it a few days ago, I didn't come away that impressed but I felt differently about the game today. This is a very realistic and much improved game, I would suggest anyone to try out the demo this is a very good football game.

Dropped passes. Boy I hope that bullshit is fixed before launch.

Vernon Davis on a drag, nobody within 5 yards... drop. THUD.

Found a bugged route. Crabtree on a 10 yard curl - drops it EVERYTIME.
Which is a go-to route for me with all these kids that love to blitz every down.

I played several games both as Washington, Giants, and 49ers. (Fuck you Pete Carroll, :lol:)

I noticed a huge uptick in drops when I was using the 9ers with Alex Smith. Comparatively, I didn't experience any drops when using RG3 and Eli. Not sure if that's what you experienced or not, I'd give another team a try and see if you have the same issues.

As far as the experience, the new physics engine is incredible. It actually matters where you hit a guy, the spin button is useful if your timing is good, double teaming on tackles actually makes a difference, there is more control in the passing game.

In all the games I played, i didn't have a single instance in which an animation fucked me or took over. It felt extremely free flow.

Preordering on Amazon for the $15, I'll use that on FIFA or something later.

Me too (not the Browns part though). I don't see the need to get Madden if I can't use my NCAA players.

9 Presentation
This looks, feels and sounds more like an NFL broadcast than any game before it. The main menu hub puts everything at your fingertips and makes it feel like one unified product.
8.5 Graphics
The crowd is still pixelated and there can be wonky handoffs, but physics are an excellent addition and the game looks stunning in motion for the most part.
9 Sound
The commentators will repeat themselves, but the new adlibbed style sounds more natural. Love the orchestral score running through the game. Stadium and on-field sounds add realism.
9 Gameplay
EA added a lot of tweaks that might not jump out at you, but they make the game feel better than ever. The new experience point system for Connected Careers allows you to build your perfect player.
9 Lasting Appeal
Different Connected Careers with friends should keep you going to see what players and dynasties you can create.
9 OVERALL

So I decided to take a weekend to myself. Needed another one. Just relaxed. Really adjusted myself to the play style of this years madden. I feel very comfortable with it. Especially in my play calling.

Madden tourney is tomorrow at 6. Time to bring the thunder on these kids.

Older crowd this year - made no difference.

Won some decent stuff too.

As for my thoughts on the game. Passing system is way to easy now.

It's a good thing John Madden wasn't Carl Barzilauskas. Somehow, I don't think "Barzilauskas 13" would flow as well.
