I think someone uncovered that certain teams always have rainy home games until their bye week. After the bye it's normal. I don't know it's a weird bug.

Also, the commentary is god awful. Literally the worst I've ever heard, but that's not a make or break thing for me.

ALSO, I've created some (imho) great sliders/settings if anyone is interested.

I'm torn between staying with my friends for online dynasty or taking this game back.

I simply refuse to play online now. I MIGHT consider it when the sliders change.

What did me in? I was facing a guy who was using NE's playbook & the Ravens.
So I figured he passes - alot. Turns out I'm right. He LOVES Torry Smith in the slot. Especially on those inside moves. Actually I'm pretty sure that's all he threw. Litteraly. I learned that after the first 2 plays. So I set Woodson on him (yes, I played as the Pack...sue me) Dropped a linebacker into hook zone over the middle and myself playing as AJ. Somehow got the ball by not only one of the best corners in the game, but before the safety and somehow past myself.

8 Rec for 172 in the first half.

Here starts my rant.

Man sucks unless you blitz. In which case slants are unstoppable it seems.
Zone the defenders aren't nearly aware enough and unless you have a primo DE/DT combo, the line gets nothing for pressure.

Defenders still don't have "angle" logic. They chase QB's which is why Madden was so much better a game when Vick was in prison.

Speed and ACC are still the only things that matter. Awareness apparently means jack shit.

Faced a guy the other day who was SF, I was STL. He'd get into the redzone and throw those stupid ass jump passes to Braylon. He'd come down with them EVERY FUCKING TIME!. Edwards sucks dick... I mean that, literally. (no offense to the gay community) no matter how hard you hit him, TD. He'd just switch to him and jump. Booyah, TD.

In closing.

If you play as Philly. Fuck you. Especially if you aren't a fan.
If you run hurry up every play and either a post or corner route to your slot WR - Fuck you.
If you play as the Steelers. Fuck you.
If you play as the Steelers using 5 wide every down and roll out with fatty. - Double Fuck you.
Play as Steelers? Steelers Fan? + 5 wide roll out? - Kill yourself.




I might have complained about DB's jumping assignments and the ball in NCAA, but at least you could defend against the pass online and TE's were somwhat coverable.

Which brings me to another point. TE post. Its a money play. By the grace of god can you stop a TE down the middle or on the seam.

I'll be heading back to NCAA I think.

I just played an online ultimate team game.... I won 38-14, but as soon as it was clear I would win, the cheese came. He used all of his pauses and tried to basically delay me into getting frustrated and quitting. The sad thing was that he had a bunch of "studs" to my default starter pack of players. I had a 150.00 passer rating with Sage friggin Rosenfels. 144 yards on the ground with Steve Slaton. .... He had Raplesburger, Cassell (each played a half) He had the Steeler uni's, Heinz field, Hines Ward etc... Anyway... frustrating that he tried to wait me out of the game, but it was pleasing to dominate a Steeler fan......

OH, I do have Teddy Ginn and AJ Hawk as default guys... AJ had a bunch of tackles and Ginn had about 150 yds receiving, most of it on a 10 yd curl that turned into a 70 something yd TD

The highest rated player I had in my starter pack was fucking 72.

Buckeneye's experience with Madden vastly differs from mine. Then again, I don't play online. But man, I love this game. I find it somewhat difficult to go back to NCAA this year. Madden is better in just about every facet.

I like this game a lot, its way improved over last year. Anyone messed around with sliders? Or know some good custom ones?

I'm in my first year of franchise with the Browns, its a lot of fun to sign free agents and make some trades.
