Madden 10

Just won my first game 21-13. 375 total yards 123 rushing 185 passing +KR/PR yards.

Some things I like, some things I dont. I'll explain in greater detail tommorrow because I have to be up in 5 hours.

For the first time ever, and I mean EVER, the CPU blocked my field goal attempt. I shit you not. I didn't even know what happened.

Can't say I'm all that impressed at this point.

Something feels off about the gameplay. Maybe I'm just not used to it. It runs like shit on my XBox too. I thought the game had froze at least 8 times in one game I played, and I'm not exaggerating. Clearing the cache helped a bit, but not enough. The game that I thought was going to freeze 8+ times ended up freezing late in the game. The frequent pauses caused an incomplete game set to 7 minute quarters (without clock acceleration) to last over an hour and a half. Ridiculous.

Sounds like some hardware issues somewhere..I just enjoy the ps3 so much more.Seems like a somewhat reliable machine in comparison.

The game feels good to me. I enjoy it. On an odd note I really like soundtrack this year. I don't mind hearing it for once.

EA has a history of catering to Sony a bit when it comes to Madden...

I've not had any problems like this until Madden 10. Other games are still working fine.

I have a PS3 too, just prefer the 360 for a variety of reasons. All of my friends got Madden for 360 too.

so far the soundtrack is badass.

The soundtrack is amazing. Make sure you turn on the classic NFL songs. It's pretty cool going from System of a Down to those old NFL Films soundtrack songs.

I just can't get into this game.. seems like it takes 45 minutes between plays. After a while I just get bored.
