Used to like Mack, but that was before he grew a vagina. Seriously, how did this guy beat us two out of three?

Vince Young in his final season > Troy Smith sitting out part of the game + Justin Zwick

3rd year starter Colt McCoy > Rookie Terrelle Pryor

So when Texas had an all-American caliber QB playing an Ohio State team breaking in a new QB, Texas squeaks by.

Conversely a seasoned Ohio State QB vs a young Longhorn play caller (2006) results in an Ohio State blow out.

Exactly. Those wins were due to circumstance, and they still barely pulled them out.

From the story I read, he was upset because one of his players was flagged for unsportmanlike conduct for making a hand gesture that was comparable to those he is complaining about. I think it was in the Texas tech game. I don't know what Tech fans normally do, but a Longhorn player did a variation of it and was flagged.

"Guns Up" or something like that. They make a pistol gesture with their hands.

Anderson Russell not wrapping up in the final moments at the Fiesta Bowl... had a lead at that point.

You can take your rational explanations & hit the road mister. There ain't no room for them here!

If this guy put half as much effort into coaching as he does whining, he wouldn't be squandering talent at a record pace. I'm surprised that a fanbase like Texas is willing to put up with his mediocrity year in and year out. He's gotten more mileage out of riding Vince Young's coattails than I ever thought he would have.
