Louisiana State becomes the fourth school to win a major national championship (Associated Press or Coaches Poll) with four different head coaches: Paul Dietzel (1958); Nick Saban (2003); Les Miles (2007); Ed Orgeron (2019).

The others are:

Ohio State: Paul Brown (1942); Woody Hayes (1954; 1957; 1968); Jim Tressel (2002); Urban Meyer (2014)

Notre Dame: Frank Leahy (1943; 1946; 1947; 1949); Ara Parseghian (1966; 1973); Dan Devine (1977); Lou Holtz (1988)

Miami: Howard Schnellenberger (1983); Jimmy Johnson (1987); Dennis Erickson (1989; 1991); Larry Coker (2001)

Ohio State will become the first to have five head coaches win an NC when Ryan Day does it in 2020.

Winning a NC coming from North of the Mason Dixon Line is a random event. Whatever the reason(conspiracy recruiting area et al) southern teams specifically SEC has an advantage. I liken it to Big 10s record in Rose Bowls prior to 2000. Many times the Big 10 team was higher ranked but came out a loser. PAC 10 teams had an advantage even if you couldn’t identify what it was.

I don't think playing in the weak ACC has been a good thing for Trevor Lawrence's development as a QB.

yeah we losing a TON on offense between the Seniors and the underclassmen leaving.

QB, RB, WR (lead team in receptions) ; 4 starting offensive linemen and reserve OL that did get some playing time. And possibly TE that just had most productive TE season in school history.

Probably entire linebacker corp.
Divinity, Phillips, Queen all gone and Chaisson is expected to also leave.
Starting CB and Safety gone too.

Not that I have seen on Twitter. Most are saying he wasn't a NCAA player anymore once the clock hit 0.0. That is the defense for all of the players regardless if they were seniors or underclassmen that have or have not declared for the NFL draft. It's a bold strategy for sure. Just imagine Michael Thomas or Zeke doing some shit like this. It would make the shit a POTUS takes look like child's play.

i think Burrow is immune to any negativity for a while.

about the worst i’ve heard even remotely attached to him was a statement like “not a good look for the star QB to admit it was cash”.

which really is more an indictment on the situation, and not on Burrow himself.

problem is that reportedly (i haven’t seen all of the videos out there) there are videos of players not yet draft eligible.

the ones I know of (videos i’ve actually seen with my own eyes) are all players who weren’t going to be here next year even had this not happened.
