LSU Tigers (official thread)

I don’t want to see us in the playoff if they’re going to play the way they have the last few weeks and just bring another embarrassment.

Here's my thoughts. Ohio State should never want to miss the playoffs because they're scared of getting embarrassed. If Urban Meyer is the coach most of us think he is, we want him to get into the playoffs. If he keeps getting plungered like against Clemson, then maybe he isn't the coach we think he is. I'll cross that bridge when and if we get to it. But we'll never find out unless we get in in the first place.

Completely agree. You’d think 2014 would have stopped this mentality. No one thought the Bucks would end the year that way. All the sudden, they absolutely destroy Wisconsin 59-0, but there were still questions swirling about whether it was a fluke for the team.

Bama was still supposed to beat the brakes off them following that game. Didn’t happen, Sugar Bowl Champs.

But that still wasn’t enough. The Ducks had too much speed and a Heisman QB waiting to “hang 60” on them.

We know how that ended. Believe in your team. Maybe they’ll fall flat, but I’ll be damned if I doubt their ability to regroup and shock everyone.

You could say the same for 2002. Miami was supposed to wax that team. They were unstoppable and the Buckeyes were just standing in their way of the crystal ball.

This weekend is a chance to start fresh. Let’s see how bad they want it throughout November before we say they shouldn’t be in the playoffs.

Oh, and just so I’m not going too far off topic, I hope Joe throws for 400 yards on Saturday.

Just to throw some water on the Burrow luvfest. For those still wanting to see Ohio State in the playoff, Alabama winning out is a huge domino that needs to fall for us. Last thing we want is two 11-1 teams in the SECCG and a 1-loss Gump team sitting at home.

Not even thinking about playoffs right now... we'll see what Ohio State is about soon enough - but im just worried about a happy thanksgiving right now.

for those of you keeping score at home:

I had more rushing yards through 3 quarters last night than LSU did.

I also have put up the exact same number of points against Bama as Steve Ensminger has in his two attempts as Offensive Coordinator here.

that the above two sentences are factually accurate makes me want slit my own throat my a dull, rusted olive fork.

Props for coming up with "olive fork" there. Made me actually LOL.

we actually dumped gatorade on our HC for beating a 4 loss team that we have owned for the last 7 goddamn years!

serves us right to un-win because of that stupid shit!

newsflash assholes:
hire a coach worth half a shit burger, and beating Aggy is no longer a gatorade bath worth achievement.

Is there any win where the linemen won't dumb Gatorade on a coach any more? FYI Nute, that was a fumble in the 1st OT. You won. But for letting them score at will for 7 OTs, the Football Gods were angry and did not bring out the Karma Klub.
