LSU Tigers (official thread)

I think they both should enter these competitions to determiner the true "Gumbo Champion":

Hell, they should enter them all and make it the best 2 out of 3........

all 3 of those are right in the heart of Acadiana.
not saying I would win any of these, but his creole style stands exactly zero chance.

Midwest Texas State has a better shot at: jumping straight from Div II, skipping over FCS, straight to a power 5 FBS conference, going undefeated and winning a Natty next season than any creole recipe has of winning a Gumbo contest out that way.

In fact, there may be a public hanging if he even tries to enter that shit into the contest.

Kayshon Boutte arrested, charged for illegal sports gambling: Ex-LSU WR alleged to have wagered on Tigers

Former LSU standout wide receiver Kayshon Boutte has been charged in an illegal sports gambling scheme, per 9News. Some of the alleged incidences occurred when Boutte was a member of the Tigers football team prior to being drafted by the Patriots in 2023. According to the initial report, Boutte never bet “against himself” for LSU football games. According to NOLA.com, "Louisiana State Police said Boutte has been accused of placing bets on at least 17 college football games, and at least six of them were LSU games while he was on the team in 2022."

Boutte reportedly turned himself in to authorities on felony charges of computer fraud and a misdemeanor count of gaming prohibited for persons under 21. LSU released the following statement Thursday on the Boutte situation:

"In July 2023, LSU was made aware of allegations regarding a former student-athlete’s improper conduct related to sports gambling while enrolled at the University. Since then, we have fully cooperated with all relevant authorities involved in the investigation and will continue to do so. We have no evidence that any other student-athletes participated in these prohibited activities, and we are grateful for measures that detect and discourage sports gambling related misconduct."

Boutte allegedly created a fake account using an incorrect birthday to gain access to gaming sites since he wasn't yet 21-years old. The report indicates, through sources, that Boutte had wagers and payouts that exceeded “several hundred thousand dollars" during the season in 2022
