I think he’s been getting hammered and gorging himself with tomato gumbo, so he’s hiding until he can get rid of all the evidence.

Yeah, but given recent events I’d assume he’s going at it a little harder. Someone had to do those 976, 453 Jell-O shots.

At the end of the day. All teams are comprised of about the same cast of characters. Yes some teams have a better athlete but in general they are all about the same.
And most of these kids are really good knuckleheads. Yes knucklehead but no worse or better than most of us at 18, other than they can run like the wind and pick really heavy things up and put them down better than 99% of the population.
My point being that one should not get overly invested in a particular player. They are all about the same vintage. With that said, there are definitely some that are way better athletes. And those are the ones we all hope pick the college we support and root for. But I do not think I would openly root against a kid. I have had players that I did not like on my own team. And some that have left that did piss me off. But at the end of the day, a few weeks later all is forgotten.
I mean as a buckeye fan, does one hate on Burrows? His path is truly a crazy one.

Why pay for a recruiting site subscription, I’d never know.
Much of the “news” are just glorified rumors and complete bs. Apparently the evaluators just ask coaches who they think is good and base their “assessments” on that.
Plus all the information on those sites get leaked within an hour of it breaking on free sites.
Plus, the message boards are usually shit shows since they need people dumb enough to pay for their “privilege” to post, so they allow them to post the most insane drivel like the post mentioned by Message Board Geniuses in this thread.

This is why I never really get down on these kids.
If I had the money and fame these kids have I would have blown it all on strippers and drugs for sure. Clearly the big man up top knew that he needed to keep me broke until I was much older and could control myself.
As it was, I am 100% positive my guardian angel earned their wings early and often. From about 14/15 until 24ish I was pretty much trying to kill myself with some of the dumbest decisions a young man could make. Between cars and fireworks and power tools and beer and explosives and guns and even pulling a stump. Somehow my buddies and I would do everything in such a fashion that life and limb were put to the test. So so so dumb.
Anyway, I rather enjoy watching these kids and the recruiting chaos as I am 100% positive I would be just like them all. I am sure for me the place with the hottest chicks would have been my choice. Or the last place I visited. I was not a thinker or a planner back then. And I had solid parents and yet I tried my best go against any good advice I received back then.
