forget whether miles wants to or can leave lsu. i would have absolutely no respect whatsoever for the ttun program if they were to hire him. sure, some will joke that scum is scum, and there should be no respect for them anyway. i don't regard them that way. i still respect the program. for better and for worse, each has helped define the other. les miles would give the big ten a black eye. he is a dirty coach and belongs in the so-everyone-cheats conference.

That shit was RIDICULOUS.

I've never seen such blatant face masks in my LIFE. That is so dangerous, dude. SO dangerous. The bodies were THROWN backwards by the force by which the LSU defenders would grab their facemasks.

That is ridiculous.

The spearing, the facemasks, and the blocks in the back. I have to say it looked to me like the LSU players were given the green light for some cheap shots by the coaching staff.

As for moving the ball, it looked to me like the ref just rolled it a little bit sideways for the chain. I have a hard time believing he was trying to deny SC the first down.

Watching the whole video, those were the 2 that jumped out at me as despicable. The others were, well, not to diminish the harm that can be done with a facemask for example, nothing that screamed Miles is scum to me.

The ref moving the ball didn't scream Miles is scum to me either. It simply screamed that SEC refs are potentially beyond slimey and possibly corrupt. (Maybe they could get a gig in the NBA?)

For me, the video doesn't "damn" LSU like the creator of the video desires. Nor does it damn Miles. (The ratings speak volumes though.)

No, for me, Miles is pure scum because, to borrow a saying from Bo, he is a Michigan man. No other video or audio is necessary

the video itself does not damn lsu. i've seen other games. they play dirty. from the top down, it is the program. it should be no surprise that others regard miles as corrupt. my original post comment about miles was just a throw-in, though.

i can't help but notice the difference between that style of play and the type that we now see exhibited by tressel's teams. while there is jawing and some slight altercations, i cannot recall the last time that i saw a player, say, take any action whatsoever that was like the spearing seen in that video. well, there is reynolds.

as an aside, has anyone noticed how almost all of our players immediately look to give the ball to the ref after a play is over? i am certain that coaches have emphasized this. robiskie is the most pronounced in doing this.
