LSU took 2 of 3 from Cal (Berkley). They travel to Natchitoches, LA to take on Northwestern State today @6:00pm

The Tigers return to Baton Rouge to open a 5 game homestand against Texas Southern, Kentucky (x3) and Nicholls St. The series against UK represents the SEC opener for LSU.

LSU wins their 19th consecutive Season Opener 8-1.

Doughty and Garza each ripped dingers (against a fairly stiff wind).
Cole Henry fanned 8 in 4 innings (on a pitch count, looked like he could have gone deep).
An actual Left Handed pitcher threw a baseball in a game for LSU for the first time since 2018.
Garza threw out a baserunner trying to steal 2nd. Something we struggled with greatly last year.

Couple mistakes that looked like could just be rust.

due to potential bad weather on Sunday, playing two games today.
