while i have to admit Texas played very well and looks like a solid team.
but LSU played sloppy as hell. too many walks, too many errors.

The Tigers beat Holy Cross to improve to 9-3. They open a 3 game series vs Cal at Alex Box Stadium this weekend.

LSU took 2 of 3 from Cal (Berkley). They travel to Natchitoches, LA to take on Northwestern State today @6:00pm

LSU wins their 19th consecutive Season Opener 8-1.
Doughty and Garza each ripped dingers (against a fairly stiff wind).
Cole Henry fanned 8 in 4 innings (on a pitch count, looked like he could have gone deep).
An actual Left Handed pitcher threw a baseball in a game for LSU for the first time since 2018.
Garza threw out a baserunner trying to steal 2nd. Something we struggled with greatly last year.
Couple mistakes that looked like could just be rust.

lost on Wednesday to Nicholls State (4-2) and last night to Eastern Kentucky (2-0).
which means we just lost back to back games to teams with Colonels as their mascot and whom nobody could locate on a map without the assistance of Google.
