Beat Nicholls St. last night in our final home game of the (regular) season

Undefeated in midweek games for 1st time in school history.

404,180 tickets sold for games at The Box this year.
2nd most in school (and NCAA) history.

If we sell a TOTAL of 736 tickets to our games for regionals (minimum 2 games) when/if it becomes official that we're hosting one, we'll set a new overall attendance record.

How could the NCAA not pick The Box as a regional host site?

You have nothing to worry about.

we won 41 games in 2010.
defending National Champs.
won the SEC tournament.
the selection committee not only didn't let us host, thye rewarded us with the longest road trip in the nation. shipped us out to play in UCLA's high school stadium against all California teams for regionals.

last year (a really bad year for us), we easily had the highest RPI of all teams not even invited to PLAY in a regional.

this year, according to current projections, we're not going to be a National Seed.
Florida has one locked up apparently. Even though we have a better overall record, a better conference record, and beat Florida head to head AT FLORIDA.

until it becomes official, I ain't taking anything for granted when it comes to the selection committee.

I guess you have some pretty good data there and some good points, but not being a national seed doesn't mean an end to hosting a regional.

You would have to think at this point that out of the SEC teams out there, Florida, South Carolina, and Kentucky all have to be in line to host one.

Oh I fully expect to host a regional at the very least this year.

Just pointing out that we have gotten the short end of the stick from the committee more than once recently.

We probably screwed ourselves out of the National Seed this year though.

Yeah, that part you really have no control over.

The chips will fall where they may

How's our former Ohio resident (and one of your present tailbacks) doing in baseball down there?

no longer on the team.

mutual decision between him, Miles, and Mainieri.
decided his future was in football, so he will focus purely on that from here on out.

we could have used him in the OF this year though.
