LSU 41 Appalachian State 13 (Final)

I know they moved the ball on that first series, but I think the second series was more indicative of what's gonna happen here. App State has no answer for LSU's defensive line. LSU should roll and cover in this one.

I was impressed with Edwards' arm strength on that deep ball he overthrew. It looked like an effortless flick of the wrist.

However, it's evident that that LSU is ready for this game, and App State is not making the "must make" plays that they made in Ann Arbor last year.

It was switched to ESPN Classic due to the time change.

Not much to see, though.

just got back from the game.
couple quick observations:
  • Charles Scott is our best back (and it ain't really close)
  • The 2 QBS were adequate. Both made decent reads, but both left question marks in the arm strength and accuracy department. Hatch looks to play a similar style to what Flynn did.
  • Defense is solid up front (and should be for the forseeable futre)
  • LBs played well
  • Corners let a few guys get a little more open than I'd like
  • safeties are all over the place (excellent job)
  • punter SUCKS!! horrible. Shit, I can unleash a 15 yard and maybe even the 23 yarder he had
  • no Idea why Jasper was doing placekicking instead of Colt David, but he was perfect on the day, so I won't complain.
