No kidding. Not even the great Charlie Weis can save that program.

As Bukipower alluded, the Bucks destroyed his Cowboys in the Alamo Bowl. Different school, but it's noteworthy. And I agree there's too much trickery in LSU's play, which often seems to lead to confused and slower players, penalties and turnovers. I think a team that is called for as many penalities as they are reflects bad on the coaching staff.Originally Posted by GeauxTigers

Miles does make it more difficult than it would be otherwise. For instance, the pass on 3rd and really short in the 2nd quarter when Bama intercepted Flynn. On Georgia, I think they just got up for Florida and aren't really a match for the talent of LSU. But LSU plays to everybody's level...bukIpower;982403; said:I think LSU is making it a lot harder on themselves than it has to be...just play sound fundamental football and their talent alone would get them to the BCS game.
I'm honestly expecting a fuck up from LSU before the NC game though... I dont' think they make it I really dont for some reason. Maybe in the SEC championship game, and a team like Georgia could give them troubles in Atlanta

Louisiana State players and coaches, including coach Les Miles, second from right, celebrate the hard-earned win.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Maybe now the fans of Louisiana State can get over Nick Saban and relish what they have: a living-on-the-edge team that's still in the thick of the national championship race after another heart-stopping victory.
Coach Les Miles' Tigers did it again last night, scoring two touchdowns in the final three minutes for a 41-34 win over No. 17 Alabama, which should serve as payback on the coach who won a title in Cajun Country but is now considered a turncoat by the purple and gold.
